1948
Established original OGAWA SEIKI CO.,LTD. Taking over the traditional and excellent technical skill in manufacturing precisional parts for aircraft industries, started the production and sales of scientific testing instruments, etc. Especially, our testing & measuring machines for quality control and several sampling devices could obtained good reputation as the highest quality instrument with unique invention.
1955In addition to the public or private laboratories of industrial fields, extended the sales to many Scientific Research Institutes, Industrial Testing Organizations, Technical Universities, etc. At the same time, started export business to overseas countries.
1968According to the enlargement of sales, established new Ogawa Seiki Co., Ltd., as specialized export company of all kinds in scientific and educational instrument. Located head office at Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, and Tsunejiro Akazawa took office as President. "O.S.K" was appointed as company-brand mark. (Capital : 5,000,000., Employee : 10 persons)
1975"O.S.K" brand mark has been well and widely known in the world and Ogawa Seiki Co.,Ltd. was organized as one of the World Big Four Suppliers of specialized scientific instrument. Now, O.S.K. Products have been exported to over 60 countries in the world and handling field was extended to Electric, Meteorology, Oceanography, Hydrobiology, etc. Increased capital to 10,000,000. (Annual Sales: 750 million Yen, Employee : 21 persons)
1976Again, increased capital to 20,000,000 Yen.
1983Further, expanded business line to additional fields of agriculture and Veterinary, Rubber, Plastic, Textile, Petrochemical, etc. Increased capital to 30,000,000 Yen. (Annual Sales : 1,420 million Yen. Employee: 32 persons)According to establishment of new Industrial laboratory or Technical University, many inquiries and orders for scientific plant-export were received.
1987Received the order for plant-export from : Zambia Human Resources Development Project, Pakistan, Karachi University, exc. Exported amount : 1,200 million Yen.
1988Received the order for plant-export from : Burma (Myanma) Seed Bank Project, Sri Lanka Moratuwa University, China Wulumuchi project, etc. Exported amount : 1,000 million Yen. *Started import business.
1989Received the order for plant-export from : Thailand Indust. Standardization, Bangladesh University Grants of Commission, University of Ghana, etc. Exported amount : 1,600 million Yen. *S.I.S. (W. Germany) : Oceanographic Instrument (Import)
1990By many inquiries and requests from wourld vocational training center and automobile industry, issued new catalogue; "Automobile" which collected all kinds of instruments and tools for Assembling, Testing, Checking, Maintenance of Road vehicle. * JENWAY (U.K.) : Analytical Equipment (Import)
1991Received orders from: Indonesia - I.H.S. (Institute of Human Seeelement) 230 Million Yen. Pakistan - G.S.P. (Geoscience of Pakistan) 460 Million Yen. Pakistan - P.C.S.I.R.
